Job Title:
Treatment Coordinator As a Treatment Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that patients receive exceptional care and support throughout their treatment journey. Your expertise will bridge the gap between patients and healthcare providers, facilitating seamless communication and coordination. You will manage patient records, verify insurance details, and ensure compliance with medical regulations, all while creating a welcoming environment for our patients. What you'll do Coordinate patient appointments and follow-up visits to ensure timely treatment. Verify insurance coverage and benefits, guiding patients through the financial aspects of their care. Maintain accurate dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize your knowledge of dental coding to assist in billing processes. Communicate effectively with clinical staff to relay patient information and treatment plans. Educate patients about their treatment options, procedures, and any necessary pre- or post-treatment instructions. Manage patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism. Collaborate with dental office staff to streamline processes and enhance patient experiences. Basic qualifications Strong understanding of Dental terminology and coding systems Experience in a medical or dental office setting is essential for success in this role. Preferred qualifications Familiarity with managed care processes and insurance verification procedures. Previous experience handling dental records and documentation. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
