The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental procedures and insurance processes, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping families understand and navigate their dental care options. The Treatment Coordinator acts as a key liaison between the dental team and patients, ensuring seamless treatment planning, scheduling, and patient education.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and engage patients and families, creating a welcoming and reassuring environment. Explain treatment plans, procedures, and financial options to patients and their guardians. Coordinate scheduling of appointments for treatment completion, follow-ups, and procedures. Verify dental insurance benefits, obtain pre-authorizations, and explain coverage to families. Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, and clinical staff to ensure accurate and efficient patient care. Maintain patient records and treatment documentation in compliance with HIPAA and office policies. Address patient questions and concerns promptly, providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

Experience in a dental office, preferably in pediatrics. Strong understanding of dental procedures, terminology, and treatment planning. Experience with dental insurance verification and pre-authorizations. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while being an integral part of a collaborative team. Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar). High level of professionalism, empathy, and patient-centered approach.
