Responsibilities Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs, including those requiring Alzheimer's and dementia care. Supervise caregiving staff, providing guidance, training, staffing, and support to uphold high standards of care and service delivery. Coordinate with healthcare professionals to manage medication administration, health assessments, and treatment schedules. Monitor compliance with state regulations, licensing requirements, and community policies related to assisted living, nursing home standards, and long-term care operations. Facilitate communication between residents, families, staff, and external healthcare providers to ensure transparency and satisfaction. Manage operational aspects such as budgeting for resident services, maintaining documentation for audits, and overseeing resource allocation for optimal care delivery. Qualifications Proven experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group home environments with a focus on senior or memory care. Strong background in developing and managing care plans for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease. Prior supervisory or management experience in healthcare or home & community care settings. Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety procedures within long-term care settings. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment. Familiarity with operations management including budgeting, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements. Background working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in retirement home environments is highly desirable.
