Job Summary The IHSS Client Care Coordinator oversees the daily operations of the IHSS department and serves as a primary point of contact for clients, staff, and community partners. This role coordinates client referrals, scheduling, documentation, staff training, payroll, billing, and compliance while collaborating closely with Case Management Agencies and RN Supervisors. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, compassionate, and able to manage multiple priorities while providing exceptional support to clients and families. $23.00-$28.00/hour DOE Full-time Multiple medical insurance plans to choose from including an HSA option Dental insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) 401k with Employer Match Duties Oversees and coordinates the daily activities of the IHSS department. Serve as the primary point of contact for all needs related to IHSS from clients, staff, and community. Manages and follows up on new client referrals, ensuring timely completion and thorough tracking of all tasks required to bring new clients on service. Works closely with Case Management Agencies to obtain and share documents and ensure continuity of care. Works closely with RN Supervisors, maintaining open lines of communication, and ensuring all client needs are effectively addressed. Orients and trains new staff, as assigned. Orients and completes Personal Care Worker training and competency with attendants, as assigned. Responsible for creating, updating and maintaining client/ attendants schedules. Maintains complete and accurate client records. Audits client records to ensure specific criteria have been met. Reviews all incoming documentation for completeness and accuracy. Sends documents for electronic signature as needed. Ensures timely completion and proper documentation of all required visits. Makes corrections to documentation as needed per agency correction protocol. Verifies employees' timecards align with assigned shifts and tasks completed. Generates payroll reports and send them to the Payroll department for processing. Submits billing claims timely and accurately as assigned. Researches denial reasons and corrects claims as needed. Posts payment to EMR system, accounting platform, varies tracking systems, as assigned. Assists with updating policies and procedures, as needed. Participates in process improvement initiatives for the department. Creates and maintains Standard Operating Procedures, as needed. Maintains familiarity with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations concerning the operation and provision of home care services. Maintains familiarity with Health First Colorado and other insurance providers rules and regulations. Alerts supervisor to problems and/or concerns which may lead to client dissatisfaction, noncompliance, or reimbursement issues. Assumes other duties within scop of training, as assigned. Demonstrates timeliness, courtesy, sincerity, and patience in all interactions. Represents Tender Care in a positive and professional manner at all times. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Requirements:

Pay:
$23.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
