Encompass Health seeks an Occupational Therapy Coordinator to lead and coordinate therapy services within our inpatient rehabilitation setting. In this role, you will balance direct patient care with team leadership, ensuring evidence-based, patient-centered treatment plans. You will supervise and mentor OT staff, manage caseloads, and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to optimize functional outcomes. Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee daily occupational therapy services in the inpatient rehabilitation setting. Provide direct patient evaluation, treatment, and individualized care planning. Supervise, mentor, and schedule OT staff and assistants to ensure optimal coverage. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members on patient goals. Ensure accurate, timely documentation and compliance with regulatory standards. Monitor quality metrics and lead performance-improvement initiatives. Support staff development through training, feedback, and competency assessment. Engage patients and families in education and discharge planning for safe transitions.
