Job Description

Overview Looking for a DENTAL Treatment/ Insurance Coordinator for our privately owned practice to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The Treatment Coordinator will serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, facilitating communication and ensuring that all necessary information is accurately conveyed. We are an insurance driven practice so a large part of the job is working with dental insurance (verifying, working on claims/ appeals, etc). You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process. Collect and verify patient information, including medical history and insurance details. Schedule appointments and follow-up visits, ensuring optimal patient flow. Explain treatment plans, procedures, and financial options to patients clearly. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with privacy regulations. Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care effectively. Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly, providing excellent customer service. Assist with billing inquiries and payment processing as needed. Stay updated on medical terminology and office procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Experience Previous experience in dental office setting is
MANDATORY
Familiarity with dental terminology is essential for effective communication with patients and staff. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and team members. Proficiency in office software applications for scheduling, documentation, and communication. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
