Surgical Coordinator - Hollywood and Coral Gables

Palm Vascular Centers, a fast passed Outpatient Clinic is currently seeking a full-time Surgical Coordinator Ideal candidate for the position is a mature and upbeat individual with exceptional customer service/patient-care skills, KEEN attention to detail and an interest in a long term position with potential for growth. Experienced Surgical Coordinator (minimum 3 years) Schedule all patient procedures Prep patient for upcoming procedures Make five-day calls Complete surgical packets Call patients the day before procedure to ensure they are prepped Schedule follow-up appointment post procedure Work on cancellation log Communicate with Doctors on their upcoming schedule Cancelling/re-scheduling of procedures per Dr's recommendation Must be able to multitask efficiently in various departments within the company Self starter Excellent customer service and phone skills Excellent patient care skills Excellent communication skills Punctual, dependable and reliable Strong organizational skills Experience in E-Clinical Works a PLUS Must be able to work independently and also as part of a team Previous experience in scheduling surgeries required Surgical vascular background or knowledge is a

PLUS Bilingual:

English & Spanish is required Excellent team player Position requires travel between our Hollywood and Coral Gables locations
