Resident Care Coordinator - Full Time Day Shift Job Summary The Resident Care Coordinator supports the Wellness Director in delivering exceptional resident care and ensuring compliance with community policies, regulations, and care standards. This role serves as a key liaison between residents, families, caregivers, healthcare providers, and community leadership to promote resident well-being and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Support onboarding, orientation, and training of new care team members. Monitor and audit training compliance, certifications, and required documentation. Report care concerns, compliance issues, and resident updates to the Wellness Director. Participate in daily team meetings and communicate resident care needs. Monitor changes in residents' conditions and coordinate communication with healthcare providers. Review medication orders and assist with medication management processes. Conduct routine Medication Administration Record (MAR) audits. Ensure resident Service Plans and documentation are accurate and up to date. Coordinate resident appointments, transportation, and healthcare services. Maintain inventory of medications and clinical supplies. Assist with resident move-ins and transitions to ensure a positive experience. Perform quality assurance audits and support regulatory compliance efforts. Provide direct resident care and assistance with activities of daily living as needed. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, or a healthcare setting. Experience administering medications and maintaining resident care documentation. Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Professional, compassionate, and resident-focused approach. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed. Education & Certifications Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medication Technician certification required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must successfully complete a background check, drug screen, TB test, and physical examination. Preferred Skills Experience with electronic health records, Yardi, Relias, or similar healthcare software. Knowledge of state regulations and senior living compliance requirements.
