Front Office Specialist (Patient Experience)
Employment Status:
Full-Time | Hourly (Non-Exempt)
Schedule:
Approximately 40 hours per week
Work Location:
On-site; travel required to multiple office locations within an approximate one-hour driving distance The Opportunity We are hiring a front-facing professional who understands that exceptional patient care begins long before a provider enters the room. This role is designed for someone who brings warmth, confidence, and emotional intelligence to every interaction and takes pride in creating a calm, welcoming environment in a fast-paced clinical setting. This is not a basic reception role. The right candidate sees this position as a place to grow, contribute, and raise the standard of patient experience. What Success Looks Like in This Role Creates a positive first impression for every patient, every visit Balances efficiency with empathy, even during busy clinic days Anticipates needs, communicates clearly, and follows through Treats patient information with care, accuracy, and discretion Shows up reliably, professionally, and ready to support the team Core Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and visitors Manage patient arrival and departure processes with accuracy and compassion Schedule appointments, testing, and follow-up visits per clinical direction Gather, verify, and maintain patient demographic and insurance information Confirm insurance eligibility and secure authorizations as needed Collect patient financial responsibility, including co-pays and balances Upload and organize documentation within the electronic medical record Prepare patient charts in advance to support clinic readiness Maintain clean, orderly, and welcoming patient areas Support patients who may be anxious or unwell with patience and care Travel regularly to clinic locations within an approximate one-hour drive radius We Are Looking for Someone Who Is naturally personable, composed, and respectful Takes ownership of their role and holds themselves accountable Communicates clearly and professionally with patients and coworkers Maintains a polished appearance and calm demeanor Adapts well to change and stays focused under pressure Wants to grow personally and professionally within a team environment Minimum Requirements Associate degree or higher required At least one year of customer service or patient-facing experience Ability to travel consistently to nearby clinic locations Successful completion of a Level 2 background screening as required by AHCA.

Note:
