Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and personable Treatment Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is instrumental in helping patients understand their treatment options, navigate financial arrangements, and confidently move forward with recommended care. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys building meaningful connections with patients while supporting a smooth and efficient office workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care & Relationship Building Educate patients about recommended treatment plans and answer questions regarding procedures and timelines Create a welcoming and supportive experience that helps patients feel informed and confident in their care decisions Communicate treatment benefits and available options in a professional, compassionate manner Build trust through exceptional customer service and patient-centered communication Treatment Planning & Scheduling Collaborate closely with doctors and clinical team members to ensure accurate treatment presentations Schedule appointments strategically based on treatment needs and patient availability Track outstanding treatment plans and conduct follow-up communication with patients Serve as a liaison between the clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless coordination Financial Coordination Present treatment estimates and review associated costs with patients Discuss payment arrangements, financing options, and phased treatment plans Clearly explain office financial policies and answer questions regarding payment expectations Help patients make informed decisions regarding their investment in oral health Administrative Support Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation within practice management software Support daily scheduling and office organization Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth patient journey from start to finish Contribute positively to office initiatives, meetings, and team development efforts Qualifications Minimum 2 years of dental office experience preferred Strong understanding of dental terminology and treatment procedures Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements Proficiency with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft is preferred Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply but bilingual ability is not required What We're Looking For A compassionate and patient-focused professional Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a busy environment Confidence discussing treatment recommendations and financial matters Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong attention to detail A team-oriented individual who enjoys contributing to a supportive workplace culture Why Nona Smiles?
