Augustine Public Montessori School is a Montessori school committed to Montessori principles and academic excellence. It is our policy to hire highly qualified Guides who support the Montessori philosophy and educational model. Extended Day Teacher conditions of employment: 1. The term of this agreement is August 10, 2026 until May 27th, 2026. 2. The Extended Day Teacher agrees to serve the SCHOOL for the number of school days needed in the official school calendar and to perform all duties as outlined in the Job Description, Staff Handbook, and assigned by the Board of Trustees; and to work cooperatively with the staff, faculty, and administration of the school. 3. The Extended Day Teacher hours will be from and include the duties of supporting classroom teachers and supervising students attending the after-school program hours of 3:00-5:30pm. 4. The Extended Day Teacher agrees to implement Montessori teaching practices, be supportive of the strategies in effect in the classroom, and work cooperatively with lead teachers in observing and following the child. 5. The SCHOOL employs the Extended Day Teacher as an hourly employee of the school at a rate of $15 per hour.
