Peer Specialist - CRPS Required (Must Reside in Florida) Molina Healthcare Medicine and Health 33646 Tampa, FL - USA Senior Specialist / Project Manager Show compensation Apply now Save position Experteer Overview In this role you provide peer support to members with behavioral health and related needs, collaborating with the care team to advance recovery and quality care. You advocate for members, connecting them with information and resources across outpatient and inpatient settings. You help members set recovery goals and coordinate steps with the care team to achieve them. The job may involve local travel to meet contractual requirements and support across care settings. You will work in a mission-driven environment that emphasizes recovery, accessibility, and coordinated care.

competitive benefits and compensation package Responsibilities Provide peer support for members with behavioral health issues, psychiatric disorders, chemical dependency, and/or physical illnesses. Advocate for members, offering information, resources, and peer support in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Assist members in setting recovery goals and collaborate with care managers to determine steps to achieve them. Possibly travel locally based on state or contractual requirements. Key requirements CRPS / Certified Recovery Peer Specialist At least 1 year healthcare experience, preferably in a peer support role Valid and unrestricted driver's license with reliable transportation and adequate auto insurance Knowledge of community resources Knowledge of recovery processes and ability to facilitate recovery using standardized behavioral health processes Ability to teach and engage in basic problem-solving for self-directed recovery Strong attention to detail Ability to multitask across phone and various computer systems Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicable software Effective communication Problem-solving Detail-oriented Multitasking Microsoft Office suite/applicable software EMR systems (preferred)
