Job Description
Insurance Specialist Private optometric practice looking to hire an insurance specialist/ billing specialist with medical insurance knowledge and experience. Duties include insurance filing, posting insurance payments, ensuring correct insurance payments are received as well as aiding the front desk as needed with scheduling appointments, patient check-in, patient check-out. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong customer service and medical insurance background. Beginning pay will be based on a candidate's skills and experience that match the job. Preference given to applicants with experience in an optometric/ ophthalmic setting. Opportunities may be available to cross train into other areas of the office. This is an in-person position, not a remote position. This is a part time position consisting of 2 - 2 1/2 office days based on our regular office hours.
