This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building genuine relationships with patients, helping them understand their dental treatment, and guiding them through the process from treatment presentation to scheduling and follow-up. The practice provides comprehensive general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry and utilizes modern dental technology to deliver personalized treatment and an exceptional patient experience. We are looking for someone who is confident, organized, compassionate, and comfortable discussing treatment plans, insurance benefits, and financial options with patients. What You'll Do Meet with patients to review and explain recommended treatment plans. Clearly explain treatment options, sequencing, scheduling, estimated patient portions, and next steps. Help patients understand their dental insurance benefits and financial responsibilities. Discuss available payment and financing options in a professional and compassionate manner. Coordinate treatment appointments and help maintain an efficient, productive schedule. Follow up with patients who have unscheduled or incomplete treatment. Track outstanding treatment and proactively reconnect with patients. Build trust with patients and help them feel comfortable moving forward with recommended care. Work closely with the doctor and clinical team to ensure treatment recommendations are accurately communicated. Assist with insurance verification and benefit coordination as needed. Maintain accurate documentation of treatment discussions, estimates, follow-up, and patient decisions. Assist with scheduling, patient communication, confirmations, and other front-office responsibilities. Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Contribute to a positive, professional, team-oriented office culture. What We're Looking For 3+years dental office experience strongly preferred. Experience as a Treatment Coordinator, Patient Coordinator, Financial Coordinator, or dental front-office team member preferred. Experience presenting dental treatment plans and discussing treatment costs. Working knowledge of dental insurance and patient financial responsibilities. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable having financial conversations with patients. Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills. Ability to multitask in a busy dental environment. Professional, dependable, positive, and team-oriented. A genuine desire to help patients receive the care they need. We are looking for someone who understands that successful treatment coordination is about building trust and helping patients—not high-pressure sales.
