Full-time AAging Better In-Home Care Sandpoint, Idaho Care Coordinator Required Qualifications:
Possess knowledge and skills in order to succeed in a fast-paced office environment. Possess good oral and written skills. Ability to answer and operate multi-line phone systems and assist all walk-in patrons to our establishment. Ability to learn and navigate new computer software for electronic tracking and payroll processing of direct care staff. Must be able to pass a FBI-level fingerprint background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the provision of Direct Care Services (DCS) and supervision of personnel in an in
  • home care environment.
Knowledgeable of the skills and procedures required for the in-home delivery of non-medical care. Proficient in employee relations and conflict resolution. Able to provide employee scheduling to meet clients' needs. Experience in an assisted living facility, adult residential home, or nursing home a strong plus.
Essential Functions/Duties:
Coordinate oversight of direct care services at the direction of the Area Manager and in conjunction with the Scheduling Manager, throughout designated and/or approved counties; Provide supervision of DCS services by AAging Better employees or contracted services when assigned by the Area Manager. As directed, assist with caregiver orientation as employees accept new assignments. Assist when needed with interviewing and/or orienting employees. If directed by the Area Manager, conduct intake assessments on new clients. Document all interventions or key interactions for both clients and/or employees in the electronic tracking system. Assure all client and personnel records are kept confidential. Cover "after-hours" call, when assigned. Assist Scheduling Manager with electronic tracking issues, such as late or no check
  • ins/outs by direct care staff working in the field; Conduct appropriate marketing activities, as assigned.
Assist with keeping office supplies at appropriate levels, when assigned Perform other duties and activities, as assigned by Area Manager or senior management. This is a full-time, hourly position with health benefits including dental and vision plans. Competitive wages DOE.
