Heaven at Home is looking for a part-time Care Coordinator to add to our amazing team. This part-time position will be 1-3 days a week, including every 6th Saturday, with the possibility of adding "on-call" shifts on the weekends working remotely. Our Care-Coordinators must be compassionate, extremely empathetic, very detail oriented, possess good computer skills, have the ability to follow directions and multi-task. Responsibilities will include answering inquiries from potential or current clients by phone, email, or text, scheduling appointments, processing payments, keeping up with laundry, and occasionally attending expos or pet oriented events (i.e, Pints for Pits, Bark at the Park) to help spread the word about our services. Previous veterinary or social work/counseling experience is beneficial but not required.

What our Care Coordinators do:

Communicate with clients via phone, email, and text Support clients in navigating end-of-life decisions for their pets Schedule and coordinate visit logistics for clients and veterinarians What we look for in you: The ability to work effectively on a team, to collaborate and problem solve, as well as accomplish tasks on your own Recognition and understanding of the human-animal bond Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail Demonstrated empathy, patience and compassion while speaking with emotional clients Basic understanding of end-of-life veterinary care or a willingness to learn HS diploma or GED, and experience or degree in related field is preferable. Related fields may include counseling, veterinary roles, administration, or social work.
