Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure in the state of MN. All RN welcome to apply, will help get MN license if from surrounding state.
- Knowledge and understanding of skilled payors/insurances including Medicare, Medicare replacement, MSHO and private
- Knowledge and understanding of Case Mix System, Minimum Data Set (MDS) process, care planning system and general resident assessment requirements and care planning. Ability to interact with staff to provide education opportunities to team members Work closely with nursing and management staff.
- Strong nursing assessment skills
- Basic computer skills: Matrix software knowledge is a plus
- The ability to communicate effectively with all team members
- Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
- Must be in good mental and physical health and have a genuine concern for the elderly
- Be able to make sound decisions
- Experience in long term care preferred
- Knowledge in infection control practices
- Required to understand nursing floor duties and medication pass knowledge
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday primarily day hours with On Call Rotation for weekends and holidays.
- Fulltime 64 hours per pay period.
