Active Treatment Technician

Company HMP Nursing Service Job Summary Responsible for daily functioning of the residential facilities. Will provide supervision and structured activities and/or care regimes to residents.

Qualifications:

Education/Skills:

Bachelor's degree in behavioral healthcare required.

Work Experience:

Behavioral healthcare experience preferred and Emergency Services experience preferred.

Physical:

Mobility and ability to bend and reach. Able to lift 40 lbs. Visual and auditory sufficient to evaluate consumer / staff needs, to recognize patients and maintain records. Fine motor skill for legible and accurate writing of reports, daily correspondence and presentation, either manually or orally.

Cognitive:

Efficient use of time management by keeping thoughts free of obstruction in an effort to diffuse issues and needs of clients. Ability to think independently to determine direction of work flow.

Qualifications:

Ability to respond to emergence situations. Ability to answer phone. Ability to supervise and monitor clients. Ability to greet and assist clients and visitors. Ability to provide courtesy and customer service to staff and consumers. Ability to work efficiently and as a team member. Ability to follow company guidelines related to personnel policies and procedures. Ability to provide direction to staff.
