The Total Joint/Spine Care Coordinator will oversee the entire patient experience and work closely with the Total Joint/Spine Medical Director and Total Joint / Spine Performance Improvement Team to ensure the patient receives personalized and high-quality care during their joint replacement or spine surgery.

Required Qualifications:
Registered Nurse License in New Mexico Minimum of two (2) years of experience, orthopedic experience preferred BLS Certification Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills Self-motivation and accountability
Preferred Qualifications:
BSN Leadership experience Clinical certification in area of specialty
Duties and Responsibilities:
Leads the Total Joint/Spine Patient through the entire continuum of care Cultivates a culture of openness and information sharing to ensure the integrity of the SJRMC Total Joint/Spine Programs Ensures the Total Joint/Spine Programs provide the highest quality of patient care Responsibility to oversee the planning and execution of all Total Joint/Spine Care Program events Collaborates with the leadership team to build and lead an effective Total Joint/Spine Care Team Coaches team members to promote and develop skills and behaviors necessary to execute department strategy, provide care in accordance with SJRMC's service standards, and maintain a healthy and balanced work ethic Consistently displays a commitment to improving quality performance Actively participates in department quality initiatives Understands shared governance (structure & process) Promotes & implements shared decision-making structures and processes Each employee is responsible for implementing SJRMC's Service Standards into their daily work: Safety, Courtesy, Effectiveness, and Stewardship Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands and Environmental Work Conditions:
Must be able to see with corrective eyewear and hear clearly with assistance Must be able to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist frequently Must be able to lift greater than 50 pounds and push 0-300 pounds frequently Potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids and meets OSHA training requirements
Special Demands:
