Care Coordinator Slocum Orthopedics - 3.5 Eugene, OR Job Details 22 hours ago Qualifications Medical office experience Clinical information systems Medical assisting Full Job Description Manage all non-urgent calls from the dedicated voicemail system for patient care. Answer and direct calls as necessary to appropriate department or Medical Assistant. Assist the Medical Assistant team in facilitating questions for patients. Enter orders as per protocol for the clinical team. Return and document all calls that are received on the Care Coordination line. Work with additional staff on the Care Coordination line to manage voicemails of the CC line, RX line, and to cover breaks and lunches. Manage all prescriptions that are on the Prescription Refill line. Refill or send to primary Medical Assistant as indicated. Provide feedback to Clinical Supervisor for process improvement. Work with the Triage Team as necessary. Strictly adheres to all HIPAA rules and regulations Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Other duties as assigned Education and Experience Knowledge of orthopedic terminology preferred. EMR and computer experience required. Medical office and or hospital experience required. Must be a certified, registered, or credentialed Medical Assistant with at least six months of post-educational experience working as a Medical Assistant.
