As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we put patients first by providing high-quality, affordable primary care and pharmacy services to all, regardless of their ability to pay. Tri-Area Community Health is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Care Coordinator to support behavioral health services in a hybrid role combining remote and on-site work. This role ensures all requirements are met for patient referral to behavioral health services, coordinates patient scheduling, maintains therapy cancellation and waitlists, and supports behavioral health providers with day-to-day operational needs. Additional job duties include collaboration with the behavioral health team to develop and implement processes for supporting program expansion and efficiency. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience with eClinicalWorks and/or knowledge of various telehealth platforms and their applicability in Federally Qualified Health Centers. Qualifications include an Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare administration, health information management, public health, medical office management, business management, information technology, human services, education, or related field and/or any of the following certifications: CPVA, CMAA, MOA, CEHRS, CMOM, RHIT, CHAA, MOS, CAP, or CMA. Previous experience as an administrative assistant, scheduler, or care coordinator in a healthcare setting is preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills is required as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling systems, and video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.). Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and professionals is essential.

This 40-hour/week position is primarily Monday-Friday, 8 to 5 and requires both remote administrative work and on-site presence within Tri-Area's service area, with travel between sites as needed.
