Position Overview Epic Minds Therapy is seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team as a Clinical Assessor . This role is primarily focused on conducting initial and reassessment evaluations for children receiving ABA services, rather than managing an ongoing BCBA caseload. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive initial ABA assessments and reassessments Complete caregiver interviews, direct observations, and appropriate assessment tools Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and medical necessity Create measurable, clinically appropriate treatment goals and recommendations Determine recommended ABA service hours and appropriate levels of care Complete assessment reports and treatment plans accurately and within required timelines Make revisions requested by QA or insurance/payer reviewers when necessary Collaborate with families, clinical leadership, and administrative staff throughout the assessment process Ensure documentation meets payer, regulatory, BACB, and company requirements Participate in authorization or peer-review processes when needed Maintain professional and timely communication with families and the Epic Minds Therapy team Qualifications Current and active BCBA certification Active state licensure where required Experience conducting ABA assessments and developing treatment plans Strong clinical writing and documentation skills Knowledge of medical necessity and insurance authorization requirements Ability to work independently and complete assessments within established deadlines Strong communication and organizational skills What Makes This Role Different This position is ideal for a BCBA who enjoys the assessment and treatment-planning side of ABA without the responsibility of maintaining a traditional ongoing supervision caseload.
