Our mission is centered around Connecting Hearts and Creating Smiles by creating meaningful relationships, supporting caregivers, and helping Incredible Kids thrive through trusted respite care services. We are seeking a compassionate, relationship-driven professional who is energized by helping others, building trust, solving problems, and creating meaningful outcomes for families. Position Overview This position is ideal for an experienced professional who enjoys relationship-building, problem-solving, and working in a fast-moving environment where initiative and communication are critical to success. As a Care Coordinator, you will guide families through the respite care process while building strong relationships with caregivers, case managers, and community partners. This is a highly relational, fast-paced role that requires professionalism, confidence, organization, emotional intelligence, and strong follow-through. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple moving pieces while maintaining a high level of compassion and care. This is not a passive administrative role — it requires initiative, ownership, and the ability to independently move families through the coordination process while delivering an exceptional experience. Responsibilities Build and maintain meaningful relationships with families raising children with special needs Guide families through the respite intake, onboarding, and matching process Conduct Zoom and in-person meetings with families and caregivers Match families with qualified Respite Companions based on needs and personalities Maintain ongoing communication with families, caregivers, and case managers Manage multiple priorities, timelines, and follow-up responsibilities simultaneously Track documentation, coordination steps, and family communication accurately Problem-solve and navigate challenges with professionalism and urgency Collaborate closely with a mission-driven team in a rapidly growing organization Help families feel supported, heard, and connected throughout their experience with Mission Respite Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in related field: Business related, Social Services or Education Preferred Experience & Skills 3+ years of professional experience in relationship-based or coordination-focused work environments preferred Experience managing a high volume of communication, scheduling, and follow-through responsibilities Strong relationship-building and interpersonal communication skills Ability to confidently guide conversations and build trust with a variety of personalities Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail Proven ability to independently manage competing priorities and deadlines Emotionally intelligent, solution-oriented, and adaptable Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability Comfortable using Zoom, scheduling platforms, and technology systems Spanish-speaking preferred, but not required Why Join Mission Respite?
