Monday-Friday, from 7:45 AM-4:45 PM About the Position Mindful Minds Psychiatry is seeking a highly dependable, organized, and adaptable Patient Care Coordinator (PCC)•Float to support our outpatient psychiatric clinics throughout Colorado. This is not a fully remote position . The Float PCC serves as MMP's primary administrative coverage resource when another clinic requires support due to an absence, staffing need, training, or operational demand. When in-person coverage is not needed, the Float PCC will work remotely providing centralized administrative and patient-support functions. Candidates must be comfortable receiving changing assignments and traveling to any of our five clinic locations when needed: Parker Colorado Springs Denver Westminster Boulder This position is best suited for someone who is exceptionally reliable, responsive, comfortable working independently, and able to quickly adapt to different clinic environments. Schedule & Coverage Expectations The regular schedule is generally: Monday-Friday | 7:45 AM-4:45 PM Monday through Thursday, the Float PCC may be assigned to work remotely or provide in-person coverage at any MMP clinic. Fridays are generally remote because psychiatric providers are not routinely scheduled in clinic; however, occasional in-person attendance may be required for training, meetings, operational needs, or clinic support. Because this position exists specifically to provide coverage when another PCC is unexpectedly unavailable, same-day clinic assignments may occur . The Float PCC must be highly responsive to management communication and capable of reporting to the assigned clinic on time. Compensation $20-22.00/hour for remote work $1.00/hour more while physically providing coverage at an MMP clinic Approved mileage reimbursement in accordance with company policy Biweekly direct deposit Eligibility for discretionary quarterly performance bonuses based on performance, reliability, punctuality, communication, accuracy, professionalism, and workflow contribution Primary Responsibilities The Float PCC will provide both in-person front-office coverage and remote administrative support, including: Greeting and checking in patients Providing professional and compassionate patient service Answering incoming calls and responding to patient inquiries Scheduling, confirming, rescheduling, and coordinating appointments Verifying and updating demographic and insurance information Supporting referrals, medical records, intake coordination, and follow-up needs Assisting psychiatric providers and clinical teams with administrative workflows Maintaining accurate documentation within the electronic health record Supporting clinic workflow and identifying operational issues requiring escalation Maintaining a clean, organized, confidential, and patient-ready front office Providing remote administrative support when clinic coverage is not required Following HIPAA, privacy, documentation, communication, and escalation procedures Completing additional PCC and administrative duties assigned by leadership Required Qualifications Candidates must have: Exceptional attendance, reliability, and punctuality Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organization and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced behavioral health environment Strong computer and technology skills Ability to learn and navigate electronic health records, Microsoft Teams, phone systems, and other administrative platforms Professional judgment when communicating with psychiatric patients and families Ability to work independently without continuous supervision Ability to adapt quickly when moving between different clinic environments Reliable personal transportation Valid driver's license Current automobile insurance Ability and willingness to travel to Parker, Colorado Springs, Denver, Westminster, and Boulder Ability to accommodate same-day clinic coverage when assigned Preferred Qualifications Previous medical front-office or Patient Care Coordinator experience Behavioral health, psychiatry, or mental health experience Experience scheduling patients in an electronic health record Experience working with insurance verification, referrals, medical records, or healthcare administration Experience supporting multiple locations or functioning in a float position What Success Looks Like in This Role The successful Float PCC is the person the organization can depend on when something unexpected happens.
