Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our vibrant dental team! In this essential role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through their treatment plans and ensuring a smooth, positive experience from initial consultation to follow-up care. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will help foster trust, clarify treatment options, and facilitate seamless administrative support.
Some Duties Include:
Welcome patients warmly, verify their information, and schedule appointments efficiently using patient management software. Explain treatment plans clearly, answer patient questions, and provide detailed information about procedures and financial options. Coordinate with dental providers to ensure timely delivery of treatments and follow-up care. Assist with insurance claims, verify coverage, and assist patients with understanding their health insurance benefits related to dental services. Communicate effectively via phone and client communication channels to confirm appointments, relay instructions, or address patient concerns. Support administrative tasks such as typing reports, managing patient files, and updating medical records with precision and professionalism. Assisting with insurance verification, appointment confirmations, recall and missed appointment calls, and keeping the schedule productive for the provider Requirements Prior experience in a dental office for at least 2 years is required Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes. Knowledge of health regulation policies related to patient privacy and confidentiality (e.g., HIPAA compliance). Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse patient populations. Familiarity with health insurance processes, verification, frequency and limitations, claims submission, and benefits explanation. Demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently in a busy office setting while maintaining attention to detail.
