Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Care Coordinator manages the full recruitment, screening, onboarding, and compliance process for all caregiver hires. The Care Coordinator also assists in on-call duties and support. This role ensures each caregiver is properly vetted, trained, and prepared for scheduling. The ideal candidate is organized, people-focused, flexible, and committed to helping select caregivers who fit our standards in skill, personality, and availability.
Responsibilities:
Create job postings and recruit caregivers based on staffing needs Conduct phone screenings and initial qualification steps Schedule and conduct in-person interviews Gather and verify caregiver availability Conduct pre-employment drug screenings Process applications and all employment documentation Perform background checks, DPS checks, and work eligibility verifications Verify CPR/First Aid certifications, auto insurance, and other required documents Input new hires into the tracking system Oversee onboarding, orientation, and compliance requirements Create and maintain caregiver summary profiles for the management team (availability, skills, personality match, etc.) Ensure caregivers are fully qualified and prepared for client scheduling Assist with client care on an as needed basis
Requirements:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized and able to manage multiple applicants and deadlines Detail-oriented with a strong focus on compliance and documentation Comfortable conducting interviews by phone and in person HR, hiring, recruiting experience is a plus (not required) Basic computer proficiency Basic Caregiving Experience In-office attendance required Ability to grow with the company
Compensation & Growth:
Seeking Full Time Employee (~40 hrs weekly) M-F 8am-5pm (Some Weekends Required) Starting wage: $18 per hour Opportunities for advancement within the company Paid On the Job Training
