Job Description

We are excited to be adding new energy and talent to build on our incredible team at Woods Orthodontics! Our well-established, multi-location orthodontic practice is in search of a Treatment Coordinator. We are looking for a motivated, energetic and organized team player that is dedicated to ensuring patient satisfaction and working hard to grow with our practice. The Treatment Coordinator controls the new patient flow of the practice and plays a vital role in customer relations and service.
Responsibilities include:
Ensuring the new patient/parent/guardian understands the treatment plan Presenting treatment, fees, and providing the payment options This is a sales position, and you must be an energetic individual with the ability to understand all aspects of the treatment plan and explain it to the patient Scheduling appointments Communicate effectively with a wide ranging audience including patients and guests of all ages, doctors, our team, and other Dr's office staff Making an outstanding first impression with patients and families Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure smooth operations of the office Establish rapport with new patients and their families throughout their treatment - determine motivation and desire for treatment Lead the new patient exam and take diagnostic records including photos, x-rays, and intra-oral scans Accurately document existing dental concerns, dental conditions, and the doctor's recommended treatment options, and appropriate referrals Communicate and coordinate orthodontic treatment, insurance benefits and payment options to patients, team and referring dental offices Follow patient follow-up protocols to coordinate and send letters to dentists and patients, follow-up calls to schedule consultations, records, or the start of treatment as well as recording monthly conversion statistics. Present a positive image of the practice Accurate processing of paperwork In summary: the Treatment Coordinator is to capture new patients and retain the existing patients through quality customer care.

Requirements:
This position requires travel to multiple local area office locations Customary schedule: Monday thru Thursday 7AM-4:30 PM (occasional Fridays, as required)

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay Ability to commute/relocate: Galax, VA 24333: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
Treat Coordinator and/or Orthodontic Technician experience is beneficial, however, not required Sales and Customer service: 2 years (Preferred) A detailed resume with a complete work history is required to be considered for this position. We offer a competitive wage as well as potential to earn a monthly bonus for a highly qualified candidate with experience in these areas.
