Job Description
Supports the care team by performing basic patient cares and non-clinical functions such as: Order entry, form completion, prior authorization, panel management, faxing, equipment cleaning, room cleaning/stocking, monitoring supply inventory/expiration dates, and other duties as assigned. Functions as a team member and displays professionalism while interacting with patients, families and co-workers. Demonstrates strong organizational skills, initiative, proficiency, and good judgment to optimize the use of the care team's time and maintain a smooth work flow. Exhibits appropriate use of telecommunications equipment and uses computer efficiently. Strong communication skills and a commitment to quality and excellence are important components of this role. Maintains regulatory requirements and follows system policies, procedures and standards.
