This position is based in our Assisted Living facility, Palmer House. In conjunction with our Administrator and Nurse Supervisors, you will assist in managing and directing the care and supervision of residents provided by facility staff. This role will contribute to the overall well-being of the residents, staff, and the facility. CBRF certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire) is highly preferred as the ideal candidate would be able to fill in for open RA shifts if needed.
Responsibilities of this role include:
Acting as a positive role-model and leader within the facility, contributing to an environment of excellence Scheduling resident appointments Accompanying residents to their appointments as needed Managing staff schedules Reviewing resident charts & medical records; quality assurance Ensuring careplans are followed and daily shift duties are completed Acting as a liaison between residents, families, and staff Assisting with employee on-boarding Assisting with facility tours & marketing as needed Managing resident intake & admissions Assisting with ISP scheduling, attending care coordination meetings, and drafting ISPs Participating in manager on-call rotation VMP is dedicated to delivering comprehensive senior healthcare and community living services in alignment with our core values; Integrity, Respect, Compassion, Excellence, Teamwork, Community, and Fun. Paid Holidays Employee Assistance Program Knowledge & Abilities:
Preferred:
at least 3 years' experience in assisted living or a nursing facility.
Preferred:
hold CBRF certifications in Fire Safety, First Aid, Medication Administration, Standard Precautions, and diabetic training.
Preferred:
knowledge of DHS 83
