Our goal is to to improve the quality of life for Alaskans by offering highly effective, non-surgical healthcare treatments in a positive environment, with a dedicated team that values our people as our most important asset. Chiropractor Duties and Responsibilities:
Consulting with the patient about their medical history and the reason for their visit Creating a plan of care that focuses on the patient's overall health and wellbeing Assessing the patient's spine, posture and reflexes to provide the appropriate treatment Performing neuromusculoskeletal therapy by adjusting the patient's spine and other joints Providing supplemental treatments, such as massage and acupuncture to the injured area Giving advice on lifestyle habits such as sleep, exercise and diet to improve patients' physical health Working with other medical professionals to render the most comprehensive care possible.
Qualifications needed:
A Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from an accredited chiropractic college New graduates considered, one year in practice preferred. Alaska license preferred, but not necessary for hire. Must be familiar with billing medical insurance, and electronic medical records.
