Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Chiropractor Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will support patient care and clinic operations. In this vital role, you will assist chiropractors with patient intake, vital signs, and documentation, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for every individual. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with intake procedures to ensure accurate record-keeping. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing equipment and ensuring all necessary supplies are available for chiropractic procedures. Support chiropractors during patient examinations by positioning patients and handing over necessary tools or documentation. Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR systems), including documenting patient histories, treatment notes, ICD (International Classification of Diseases) coding, and progress reports. Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering patient inquiries, and managing clinic flow efficiently. Requirements Prior experience in medical settings such as outpatient clinics, hospital medicine, or emergency medicine is preferred, but we will train the right person. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding to accurately support clinical documentation. Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with diverse populations including geriatrics and those in medical-surgical settings. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced outpatient or inpatient environments with a focus on patient care quality and safety.
