In this vital role, you will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of medical records and documentation within our electronic health record (EHR) systems. Your attention to detail and knowledge of medical terminology will help maintain the highest standards of care quality and regulatory adherence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a compassionate healthcare environment where quality matters every step of the way. Responsibilities Review and audit medical records to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies Utilize Data Soft Logic software to analyze data integrity, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure proper documentation practices within EHR systems Maintain detailed logs of audits, findings, and resolutions for regulatory audits and internal reviews Assist in updating and refining quality assurance protocols related to medical documentation processes Support staff training initiatives by providing guidance on proper documentation procedures and Data Soft Logic functionalities Monitor ongoing data quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement Qualifications Proven experience working in a medical office environment or healthcare setting Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, particularly Data Soft Logic or similar platforms Strong understanding of medical terminology and medical records management Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify errors or inconsistencies in complex data sets Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards and documentation requirements Effective communication skills for collaborating with clinical teams and documenting audit findings accurately This role is essential in supporting our mission to deliver high-quality home health care services.
