RN Information Systems Clinical Specialist Bridge Technology and Patient Care in the Heart of the Rockies Are you an experienced RN with a passion for healthcare technology, clinical workflows, and improving patient outcomes? Join our team at Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center as an RN Information Systems Clinical Specialist and play a key role in optimizing the systems that support exceptional patient care. Nestled in the beautiful mountain community of Salida, this full-time exempt position offers the opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with innovation, collaboration, and leadership. Education and/or Experience Minimum of an Associate's Degree (ADN) from an accredited nursing program. BSN preferred, with Masters in Informatics Strongly Preferred. Minimum of three years' experience in acute care/ information technology preferred. 2+ Years experience in Clinical Informatics strongly preferred. Epic Certification Preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must maintain current, active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado. This position is exempt and scheduled to work 40 hours per week. The Clinical Information Systems Specialist serves as the clinical liaison for the implementation, optimization, and support of clinical application systems throughout Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center. Utilizing clinical nursing expertise, this role collaborates closely with Information Services, clinical departments, and end users to ensure systems meet operational and patient care needs. The specialist helps define functional requirements, supports system development and implementation, facilitates communication between stakeholders, and promotes the effective use of technology to enhance clinical workflows and patient outcomes.
