Behavioral Health Territory:
New York, New Jersey, Connecticut Employment Type:
W2, full-time or part-time About The Counseling Center Group The Counseling Center Group (CCG) is a growing multi-state behavioral health practice built on providing evidence-based treatment that is proven by research to be fast and effective. What distinguishes us from other mental health therapy practices is the clinical excellence of our therapists, the quality of care we provide, and the efficacy of the care we deliver. This is not the open-ended talk therapy, where treatment continues for months or years without producing meaningful change. Our clients get better, and the research explains why. CCG's primary modalities include DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), and more. Our clinicians pursue the gold standard of training in their specialties. The Role Many people do not know this kind of care exists, or where to find it. We are looking for an experienced pharmaceutical representative who is excited to bring the message of what CCG offers to referral sources and organizations across the tri-state area. This role is modeled directly on pharmaceutical sales. You will build and manage a territory, meet with referral sources, deliver in-services, lunch-and-learns, and the like, and establish ongoing relationships that bring clients to our clinicians. Success in this role depends on being able to articulate what makes our clinical work different and why it produces better outcomes, in a way that earns trust and turns a single meeting into an ongoing referral partnership. You will build relationships with the professionals and organizations who encounter people in need of mental health treatment, including: Hospitals and health systems Psychiatrists and psychiatric practices Primary care physicians and specialty practices Oncology practices and cancer centers IOP, PHP, and residential programs Nutritionists and dietitians Other mental health practitioners and group practices Schools and universities Churches, synagogues, and community organizations Businesses and corporations with employee wellness programs Responsibilities Own the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut territory, including target list development, planning, and pipeline management Deliver in-service presentations and other outreach to clinical and organizational teams Communicate what distinguishes our clinical approach and represent our outcomes accurately and credibly Build and maintain referral relationships that generate ongoing volume Present our services to businesses and decision makers for workplace wellness programs Represent the practice at conferences, professional events, and community networking Report market feedback and referral trends to leadership Qualifications Required Two or more years of pharmaceutical sales experience. Medical device, biotech, or comparable healthcare sales experience will also be considered Demonstrated success building a territory and developing referral or prescriber relationships Credibility in clinical settings and comfort presenting to physicians and clinical teams Ability to speak accurately about clinical research and outcomes Self-directed, with the ability to manage a territory independently Willingness to travel throughout the tri-state area Preferred Clinical licensure or clinical experience Existing relationships with health systems, physician practices, or corporate benefits decision-makers Experience selling healthcare services rather than product Familiarity with evidence-based behavioral health treatment Compensation and Benefits The base salary range for this position is $40,000 to $80,000 , plus commission and performance-based incentive compensation. This role is structured so that a significant portion of total earnings comes from incentive compensation tied to referral development. Actual compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience, qualifications, and whether the role is filled on a full-time or part-time basis, and will be discussed directly with candidates during the interview process.
