A Clinical Data Analyst is responsible for gathering, compiling, modeling, validating, and analyzing clinical trial results data needed by pharmaceutical companies, governmental agencies, and biotechnology firms evaluate the effectiveness of their trial drugs. May be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing clinical data reporting systems for the clinical staff to use.

Job Description

The Clinical Informatics Analyst Facilitates the development and implementation of clinical process redesign and information flow as it relates to the Health System's EMR(s). This person is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating systems and solutions based on clinical user needs. This person is responsible for working with clinical users to define current state workflows and develop future state workflows that meet clinical needs and that are technically relevant. Oncology experience preferred. Required Skills Ability to work in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Excellent end-user documentation skills. Ability to interpret both written and verbal user requirements. Project management skills. Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines. Demonstrate problem-solving skills related to the position. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be detail-oriented. Demonstrate the ability to be a team player and possess a willingness to perform duties that are assigned or delegated to him/her as well as a willingness to perform duties of other employees as needed. Required Licenses An active RN license or other clinical license is strongly preferred. Experience Preferred 1 - 3 years: 1-3 years previous experience in nursing and/or 3 years experience in Information Systems related field, nursing, and health care experience strongly preferred.
