Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) Position Summary- Part time with Future Full time options The Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) is responsible for the assessment, development, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of developmental disability services for individuals receiving services through the Idaho Medicaid Developmental Disabilities Program. The QIDP ensures all services are person-centered, clinically appropriate, compliant with Idaho Department of Health and Welfare (IDHW) regulations, Medicaid requirements, and agency policies. The QIDP serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team and provides clinical oversight to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and other staff to ensure quality services that promote independence, community integration, self-determination, health, and safety. Essential Job Functions Person-Centered Planning Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals' strengths, support needs, preferences, risks, and goals. Develop, implement, and update Person-Centered Service Plans (PCSPs) and implementation plans. Ensure services are based upon informed choice and individual preferences. Review plans as required and whenever significant changes occur. Service Coordination Coordinate with Medicaid case managers, families, guardians, physicians, schools, therapists, and community providers. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings. Assist individuals in accessing community resources and natural supports. Ensure continuity of services. Clinical Oversight Monitor implementation of developmental therapy, community-based supports, and other Medicaid-authorized services. Observe services in home and community settings. Ensure interventions are implemented according to approved service plans. Identify changes in functioning and recommend modifications to services. Documentation & Compliance Complete required assessments, progress notes, service reviews, and reports within required timelines. Maintain complete and accurate records. Ensure documentation supports Medicaid billing requirements. Prepare records for audits and quality assurance reviews. Staff Support Provide clinical direction to Direct Support Professionals. Train staff regarding implementation strategies, documentation requirements, behavior support plans, and person-centered practices. Participate in staff orientation and competency evaluations. Quality Assurance Monitor quality of services and individual outcomes. Participate in internal audits and corrective action activities. Report abuse, neglect, exploitation, or other incidents according to Idaho law and agency policy. Promote continuous quality improvement. Minimum QualificationsEducation Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following: Psychology Social Work Sociology Special Education Counseling Human Services Nursing Rehabilitation Human Development Behavioral Science Other closely related human services field Experience Minimum one year of experience providing services to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Experience with Medicaid-funded developmental disability services preferred. Experience developing person-centered service plans preferred.
