Job Description

Coordinates and implements the Quality Management and Performance Improvement activities of the hospital. Provides consultation and direction to hospital departments and the medical staff. Promotes quality and safe patient care through interdisciplinary interactions with staff and physicians. Job duties include but may not be limited to: Supports the Quality and Patient Safety Program through participation in Root Cause Analyses, action planning, and performance improvement initiatives. Reviews medical records and Epic reports to identify cases for committee review and analyzes data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Coordinates data collection, monitoring, reporting, and compliance activities for regulatory and accrediting bodies. Provides quality improvement education and training to hospital staff and teams. Facilitates quality improvement teams, conducts focused studies, aggregates data, and presents findings to support organizational goals. Maintains confidentiality of quality activities and participates in ongoing professional development.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or other clinical field
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Current Maryland licensure or certification in area of practice:
CPHQ, CJCP, CPPS, or CPHRM Experience:
Three (3) years in area of clinical practice in a hospital environment. Quality management/quality improvement experience.
Salary Range:
Minimum 43.89/hour - Maximum 72.42/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
