Education & Credentials:

Required Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, economics, data science, or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, an Associate's degree in healthcare, or finance with 2-3 years of experience in a hospital setting may be considered. In lieu of a degree; a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in healthcare analytics, managed care, financial analysis, or a similar field. Preferred Bachelor's degree in healthcare

Work Experience:

Required One year of relevant experience is preferred. Candidates without experience must have completed a healthcare- or finance-related internship with strong references or possess a significant managed care or analytical background. Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, managed care operations, CPT, DRGs, ICD-10, and hospital and physician billing is preferred. Advanced Excel, intermediate Word and PowerPoint, analytical ability, adaptability to new software, and strong communication and customer service skills are required. The incumbent should achieve basic proficiency within three months.
