Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst Société Générale - 3.8 Jersey City, NJ Job Details $115,000 - $205,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Data-driven problem-solving Full Job Description Responsibilities Represent the Regulatory Reporting team in the New Products Committee, reviewing business line documentation, actively participating in stakeholder discussions, and assessing regulatory reporting impacts. Deliver clear, documented analyses of implications for FR Y-15 and
FFIEC 002
reporting. Monitor regulatory developments and proposals impacting regulatory reporting, and assist in translating requirements into reporting, data, and process changes. Review and assess the impact of new and revised reporting requirements (e.g., Regulation YY, Basel IV). Develop and execute test plans for new data requirements and changes to data sources to ensure timely regulatory compliance. Review Federal Reserve SR letters to ensure compliance within FFIEC 002 and FR Y-15 reporting. Perform periodic compliance reviews and benchmark against industry best practices across all regulatory reports. Maintain strong collaborative relationships with Business Unit Controllers, data providers, and the Information Technology Group to ensure reporting requirements and processes are clearly understood. Contribute to the preparation and submission of selected schedules for the Call Report, FR Y-15, and other regulatory filings. Ensure the timely and accurate preparation and submission of financial regulatory reports in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and procedures. Actively participate in Federal Reserve examinations, internal audits, and external audits. Perform transaction-level testing of regulatory reports, documenting results and evaluating impacts on
FFIEC 002, FR Y-15
schedules, and other regulatory filings. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within regulatory reporting using data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Alteryx). Perform assessments of data lineage, data quality, reconciliations, and related controls. Support ad hoc reporting, including preparation, analysis, and review. Profile required
Experience Required:
10+ years Regulatory Reporting experience
Competencies:
Strong knowledge of the banking industry and products Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to understand and interpret Banking regulations and regulatory reporting requirements. Ability to evaluate data attribute accuracy in accordance with various regulatory reporting guidelines and instructions. Ability to problem-solve independently and follow established procedures while identifying opportunity areas. Demonstrates research capabilities to conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses and draw insights/actionable items from the analysis. Quantitative, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills. Organized self-starter with the ability to think and work independently and creatively. Team player, willing to assist others as needed to ensure deadlines are met and quality standards are achieved. Flexibility to adapt when requirements or deadlines change. Interest, willingness, and ability to assimilate information quickly and succinctly. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Technical Skills:
Strong Excel computer skills and ability to work with large sets of data. Ability to automate processes using various analytical tools Proficiency in other Microsoft Office Products Desired /

COMPENSATION:
Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and includes a competitive benefits package including 401(k) plan with company match, medical/dental/vision, and other benefits for fertility, wellness, student loans and commuters.
