The Health Information Technology ISA is responsible for assisting the HIT program with student record management and program reporting data, as well as various other duties. Some of the key responsibilities of the ISA include, but are not limited to, the following: Assists faculty with new student onboarding through Academic Advising Course. Creates and maintains HIT student folders and tracking forms. Maintain curriculum statistical and informational reports. Responsible for graduate and employer survey correspondence and maintaining survey results. Assists Health Information Technology (HIT) faculty with course updates in LMS. Monitor and update noncredit ExamPrep courses. Attends academic program and department meetings. Works with requesting colleges to negotiate 1+1 articulation agreements with career colleges and community colleges that do not offer such programs (to continue increasing Alfred State's HIT academic program enrollment). Responsible for correspondence with workforce development relationships. Assists Program Director with annual reporting requirements.Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications :
Associate degree in health information technology, business administration, office technology or related field. Experience with interacting effectively with colleagues, staff, students, and administrators. Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree in health information technology from CAHIIM-accredited institution RHIT credential or RHIT eligible Work experience in a health information management (HIM) department in a healthcare facility Familiarity with online learning management systems Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
