Job Details Job Summary:
Partner with Department administration to lead the design and implementation of Quality and Performance Improvement projects and reporting Evaluate, analyze and interpret data and reports from internal and external sources Actively participate in hospital performance improvement and patient safety activities Determine the data/reporting needs of various hospital departments and PI committees and produce analyses to uncover inefficiencies and improve processes
Qualifications/Requirements:
Experience in data analysis and reporting preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel (advanced)
Job Responsibilities:
Analyzes data trends using statistical tools and software Directs development of SQL queries to support data inquiries Develops and coordinate data collection for various hospital scorecards and reporting Assists in Joint Commission readiness activities and Disease Specific Certifications Analyzes and studies clinical workflow to determine inefficiencies and improve processes Participates in hospital-wide and department-specific Quality and Performance Improvement projects and programs Identifies opportunities to use facility and industry data support improvement projects Employs Lean, Six Sigma and other evidence based improvement methodologies to guide, measure and sustain quality improvement
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health Science, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Healthcare Informatics or related field Posted Salary Range USD $55,000.00 - USD $63,000.00 /Yr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
