Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Clinical Services Specialist position is a clinical leadership position that reports to the Director of Clinical Services or other designated clinical leader to maintain, improve, and implement Clinical Services systems, processes, and initiatives. The Clinical Services Specialist is an individual who has a passion for supporting BCBAs in providing high-quality services to their clients. The Clinical Services Specialist will take an active role in assisting BCBAs in completing initial assessments, offering additional support to BCBAs in their assigned state, and supporting the quality assurance team. BCBA Responsibilities- Carry a caseload of no less than 3 clients in a manner that allows you to complete the remainder of your duties
- Billable expectation: 20 hours
- Provide supervision to BT/RBTs under your caseload, and, availability permitting, fill in for other BCBAs who are not available and support is needed
- Develop child-specific behavior plans in accordance with the principles of ABA Therapy Specialist Level Delegations
- Serve as on the ground support for BCBA overlaps and clinical case review meetings, as requested by BCBA's and as the need is otherwise identified.
Including but not limited to:
○ Troubleshoot caseload issues, such as failure to meet goals or regression ○ Assist in delivering training to RBTs with remote supervisors ○ Offer in-person support to BCBAs and RBTs- Assist BCBAs during initial assessments within a defined drive time
- Offer remote assistance for initial assessments outside of the defined drive time
- Act as a BCBA experience navigator - be a listening ear to BCBAs by offering support and guidance in collaboration with the state-based leadership team
- Available to act as a BCBA Mentor for BCBAs who are in their first year of certification and/or first 6 months of working at Magical Moments ABA at the discretion of clinical leadership to ensure alignment with company clinical standards of excellence
- Carry out Quality Assurance initiatives at the discretion of the Director of Quality Assurance ○ Review Treatment Plans as needed with an emphasis placed on BCBAs who are new to Central Reach and/or certified for
