Job Description

OASIS Review Specialist Care IV Home Health, home health agency located in Arkansas, is now hiring a remote OASIS Review Specialist! Our OASIS Review Specialist works for our QAPI Department remotely from home (Quality Assurance / Performance Improvement). The OASIS Review Specialist is responsible for reviewing and auditing OASIS documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance with CMS guidelines, and proper clinical documentation to support reimbursement and quality outcomes. This role plays a key part in maintaining regulatory compliance and optimizing agency performance scores and reimbursements. No patient care involved. Nursing license not required for this position. Must know OASIS and home health coding. Must be dual certified. Pay depends on experience. Excellent benefits! Must be available to work 40hrs per week, MON thru FRI specifically in Central Time 8a-5p CST.
DutiesResponsibilities:
Review all Coding, OASISPOC (Plan of Cares) Communicate planscorrections to clinical staff Targeted audits Maintain compliance OASIS submissions Review trending reports and report findings to QAPI Director Identify educationalcorrective opportunities for clinical staff, and communicate findings to QAPI Director Participate in QAPI meetings, continuing education, etc. Other QAPI duties as assigned Required experience: Must have current certifications of HCS-D (Coding) One of these current certifications also required: HCS-O, COS-C or COQ-S Minimum 1 year of current or recent home health experience Experience with OASIS assessments is required Excellent computer skills with solid critical thinking skills and an attention to detail Punctualreliable team player with a great attitude and superior customer service skills Previous experience working in a professional office setting strongly preferred Perks include: Lucrative company-sponsored retirement plan (with some of the BEST $$ matching rates in the Arkansas home care industry!)
