Horizon Community Mental Health is seeking a Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW), Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), or Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) to join our outpatient practice in Lancaster. Prior post-graduate clinical experience is not required. Associates with post-graduate clinical experience are also encouraged to apply. The position will begin with a manageable caseload and grow over time. Clinical supervision toward licensure is provided. Spanish-speaking/bilingual preferred, but not required. Responsibilities Provide individual psychotherapy to adults Conduct initial intakes and comprehensive psychosocial assessments Develop diagnoses, treatment goals, and clinical recommendations Monitor client symptoms, functioning, progress, and safety Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation Coordinate care when clinically appropriate Participate in clinical supervision and case consultation Qualifications Current California BBS registration as an ASW, AMFT, or APCC in good standing Ability to provide in-person services at our Lancaster office Strong interpersonal and communication skills Dependable, organized, and able to follow through on responsibilities Receptive to supervision, feedback, and continued clinical development Able to take appropriate initiative while recognizing when consultation or supervision is needed Basic understanding of clinical safety, mandated reporting, and when to seek supervisory consultation Able to practice within professional, ethical, and legal standards and within associate scope of practice Able to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality Comfortable using electronic health records and completing clinical documentation electronically

Position Details Employment:

W-2 employee

Compensation:

$32-$40 per completed client session , based on relevant experience and qualifications. Indeed's structured pay field displays this range using an hourly format; this position uses a session-based compensation structure. Required non-clinical work time, including documentation, supervision, required training, and other compensable non-session work, is compensated separately.

Schedule:

Flexible. Minimum availability of approximately 10 client sessions per week , with the opportunity to build to approximately 25 sessions per week or more based on clinician availability and caseload growth.

Work arrangement:

Primarily in-person at our Lancaster office, with telehealth available where clinically appropriate and consistent with practice needs.

Clinical supervision:

Provided toward licensure.

Location:
