Job Description

Elev8 New Jersey is seeking dedicated and credentialed/licensed counselor (LCADC, CADC, LAC, LPC) to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals on their recovery journey. Our state-of-the-art facility offers detox, short-term, and long-term inpatient treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
Position Overview:
The Primary Counselor serves as a vital member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, overseeing a caseload of clients and delivering high-quality clinical care through individual, group, and family counseling. This position also involves completing assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with case management, and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy for clients with substance use and co-occurring disorders. Complete biopsychosocial assessments, risk evaluations, and individualized treatment plans in alignment with clinical and regulatory standards. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the Electronic Health Record. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and treatment plan reviews. Provide crisis intervention and support clients with community-based referrals and aftercare coordination. Contribute to ongoing development of culturally responsive and trauma-informed clinical programming. Attend regular clinical supervision and case conferences to ensure the highest quality of care.

Active
LCADC, CADC, LAC, LPC
LSWs must have their own clinical supervisor but can receive supervision toward LCADC if desired. Experience providing inpatient or residential substance use counseling preferred. Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills. Passion for helping individuals in recovery and working collaboratively within a clinical team.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range:
$65,000 - $70,000 Comprehensive benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and paid time off.

Tuesday-Saturdays or Sundays-Thursdays, dayshift (8am-4pm / 9am-5pm)
