What You'll Do As our Clinical Liaison, you will: Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, case managers, discharge planners, and referring hospitals. Educate patients, families, and referral partners about the benefits of inpatient rehabilitation. Coordinate smooth patient transitions from acute care to rehabilitation. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate admissions. Represent Acadiana Rehabilitation Hospital in the healthcare community through outreach and networking.
Qualifications Required:
Current licensure as an RN, LPN, PT, OT, SLP, or other qualified healthcare professional. Minimum of two years of clinical experience in acute care, rehabilitation, case management, or a related healthcare setting. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Preferred:
Previous Clinical Liaison or rehabilitation admissions experience. Knowledge of inpatient rehabilitation admission criteria and payer guidelines. Experience working with physicians, hospital case managers, and referral sources.
