Job Description

Overview:
We're looking for a compassionate, grounded Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselor to join our team and walk alongside individuals on their recovery journey. This role is ideal for someone who believes in meeting people where they are, honoring lived experience, and creating spaces that feel safe, respectful, and empowering. What You'll Do:
Provide trauma-informed individual and group counseling that supports recovery, resilience, and self-determination Conduct thoughtful, strengths-based client assessments to help determine the appropriate level of care Collaborate with clients to co-create individualized treatment plans that align with their goals and values Maintain accurate, ethical, and confidential documentation in accordance with HIPAA standards Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure whole-person care Maintain timely, accurate documentation that directly supports continuity of care and positive treatment outcomes Offer case management support , helping clients navigate systems and access resources that support long-term recovery
Qualifications:
ADT, CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LGADC, LCADC or equivalent Experience providing addiction counseling in a clinical or hospital setting A solid understanding of trauma-informed care , patient assessment, and behavior analysis Working knowledge of HIPAA , medical records, and ethical documentation practices Comfort with case management and advocacy-based approaches to care Strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to hold space without judgment In this role, you'll contribute to meaningful, recovery-oriented care that supports individuals in rebuilding trust, strengthening self-connection, and working toward greater stability and well-being. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
