A Clinical Data Manager manages data and information gathered for a clinical trial to study of medical treatments or drugs. Assists with developing tools used for data collection, manages all aspects of data collection and validation during a clinical trial, and oversees the closeout of a trial and transfer of data for statistical analysis.

Responsibilities:
Provides leadership, coordination, and project management for quality improvement initiatives across the organization. Collaborates with Palliative Care (PC), Transitions of Care (TOC), and Patient Care Administration (PCA) leadership to plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate initiatives that support organizational goals and improve patient care outcomes. Facilitates cross-functional communication, tracks project progress, manages action items, and supports task force activities to ensure successful execution of strategic priorities. Supports the collection, validation, analysis, and reporting of clinical quality data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and meaningful performance measurement. Evaluates and enhances data sources, collection methods, analytical processes, and reporting systems to strengthen quality monitoring and improvement efforts. Develops and maintains dashboards, reports, and performance metrics that support data-driven decision-making, project oversight, and continuous quality improvement across patient care services.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree or higher in Health Services, Public Health, Information/Computer Systems, Business Administration or Healthcare Administration. Three (3) years of relevant experience in data analytics, quality improvement, regulatory reporting, healthcare data management, information systems, or healthcare operations.
PREFERRED
Previous consulting or healthcare performance improvement experience. Demonstrated project management experience, including the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives and meet established deadlines. Demonstrated experience developing programs, databases, or tools to support clinical data collection, analysis, and reporting. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Midas, and other data management and reporting applications. Strong knowledge of computer applications, including database management, spreadsheet software, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools. Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proven track record of driving projects, facilitating collaboration, and achieving results. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information to diverse audiences. Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Working knowledge of team dynamics, team development, and performance improvement methodologies.
