Job Description

Clinical Data Manager Job Summary Clinical Data Managers Develop data management plans that deliver accurate, timely, and consistent clinical data. Build, review, and maintain clinical databases, data collection tools, and applications. Create, review, and maintain study documentation, such as Case Report Forms (CRFs), Data Management Plans ( DMP ) and Data Transfer Agreements (DTAs). Contribute to protocol development and review. Compile, analyze, clean, and validate clinical trial data. Identify and resolve discrepancies and issues with clinical data. Develop data management reports and monitor study status to ensure timelines are met. Represent the data management function to key internal and external stakeholders. Work collaboratively with clinical research and operations team to ensure accurate and complete data collection. This position is in the Utah Data Coordinating Center. UtahDCC Job Responsibilities or Essential Functions:
Work with cross-functional teams to implement a strategy to collect primary outcome and other critical data per study protocol Issue and resolve queries with high degree of accuracy Write, review, and test data validation checks using SQL or similar coding language Create and maintain study documentation including Data Management Plans, user acceptance testing, and training manuals Prioritize data management activities based on a risk assessment plan Learn more about the great benefits of working for

Full Time or Part Time?
Full Time Work Schedule Summary:
Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday. This position offers a flexible, mostly remote work schedule for candidates who reside in the state of Utah. While most duties can be performed remotely, the employee must be available to attend essential meetings and events on campus as needed.

This position may require occasional travel.
