A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A
Order Entry Specialist This position is responsible for clinical data entry activities for the Clinical Services team. The position will ensure the highest standards for clinical data integrity and quality are maintained in alignment with Clinical Services efforts aimed at improving the treatment, health, and medical outcomes for patients. Responsible for the evaluation of clinical test orders for appropriateness, accuracy, and completeness, as well as the associated data entry in the laboratory information management system (LIS). This role will spend the majority of its time reviewing submitted test orders for appropriateness and completeness, creating and managing patient test orders, updating current cases and attaching relevant documentation, and ensuring the timely and accurate entry of test orders into the LIS to support efficient laboratory operations and patient care.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED equivalent or work experience equivalent Ability to type with attention to detail and accuracy. Data Entry experience Strong computer literacy is required. Attention to detail. Please see the full job description at the end of the job ad.
SCHEDULE
Monday - Friday, 5 days/week in the office from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, exempt position, working from the Phoenix, AZ office location.
